The Star Wars: Rebels media burst continues, with an advance look at some toy tie-ins before New York Toy Fair starts this weekend, thanks to USAToday. We'll have closer looks at these and other Rebels toys in the coming days, but the official first look (the LEGO products leaked a few weeks ago) gives not just what the toys will be, but also the official announcement of more crew members of The Ghost, the main ship our heroes will use in Rebels.
Both new LEGO sets hit stores August 1, 2014. "The Ghost" will run $89.99 for a 929 piece set that includes four minifigs. Kanan, the "cowboy Jedi" revealed earlier this week and leader of the team has his last name, Jarrus, revealed by the set's listing. Joining Kanan is Hera Syndulla, a Twi'lek female who, if the image is accurate, will be the pilot of the ship. Zeb Orrelios, an unrevealed (and unfortunately too-small-to-research) alien member of the squad is also included, along with a Stormtrooper, because hey, they need someone to blast, right?
The other LEGO set is of "The Phantom." This second, smaller ship includes a young pilot named Ezra Bridger and the previously revealed droid named Chopper. The 234 piece set runs $24.99.
Hasbro also has their first Star Wars: Rebels line-up to show off at Toy Fair. The new "Saga Legends" line has a somewhat predictable line-up for the first three figures: Kanan, the villainous Inquisitor, and Chopper. Hopefully we'll see more figures like Hera Syndulla soon. Take a first look at Kanan and Inquisitor below, and we'll have more images for you in the next few days!
