The wait for the live arena show featuring characters from all over Marvel Comics ends in July. In a press release, production company Feld Entertainment announced that Marvel Universe LIVE! will debut in Florida on July 10, 2014 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, with a special "World Premiere" event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY about a month later on August 13. The tour is then planned out through April of 2016, with more dates in the offing beyond even then.

The show will feature "more than 25 Marvel characters together on one epic quest." When the Cosmic Cube is shattered, The Avengers, including Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, and Wolverine, will embark on a journey around the world to retrieve the fragments in order to combat Loki, who has made a synthetic replacement for the shattered mystical device. Their journey will pit them against villains from all over the Marvel Universe, as well, including Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Red Skull, Madame Hydra, Aldrich Killian, and Electro.

If all those characters sound familiar, that's completely on purpose. Producer Juliette Feld promises that through the unique technological advances of the show, including real sets, props and stunts augmented by unique 3D projections, "fans will feel like they've stepped into a Marvel blockbuster film come to life."

The full list of tour dates, as well as tickets available for purchase, is at the official Marvel Universe LIVE! website now.
