UPDATED 8:50am ET with Colossus and Future Sentinel. All 25 now online: What Empire Magazine is calling "The biggest ever superhero movie" is getting a twenty-five hour push from their online component. Every hour, via the cast and crew of the film on twitter and the special X-Men: Days of Future Past hub they've set up on their website, the magazine is revealing the staggering twenty-five different covers to their March 2014 issue, focused around the film. Each cover features another of the mutant heroes or some of their villainous counterparts.
Director Bryan Singer started the fun with a twitter picture of the Sentinel mark I being built in 1973 at 3am EST, meaning we won't see the final cover until 4am tomorrow. Of course that first image also begs a particular question: If there have been Sentinels since 1973, where the heck were they in X-Men, X2, and X-Men: The Last Stand? You'd think that if a mutant were say, attacking the White House, and you had a giant robot designed to fight mutants, you'd pull it out.
Stick around all day long for more revealed covers, and possibly some more intriguing looks into the film.
