NYCC 2013: Marvel Adds More Characters To LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES Game

Make way Marvel zombies, there's more heroes -- and villains -- coming to the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game.

At Saturday's Marvel video game panel, the publisher announced the addition of several new playable characters to the October 22 game. Joining this franchise are the heroes Power Man, Iron Fist, Havok, Polaris, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ant-Man and Black Bolt, as well as villains such as Taskmaster, Absorbing Man, Nightmare, Pyro, Shocker and Electro (both the comic version and the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie rendition). And if that wasn't enough, they're also adding Aunt May.

This comes in addition to the previously announced Asgard DLC Pack whichi includes the Asgardian heavyweights of Malekith, Kurse, Sif, Volstagg, Odin, Hogun, Fandral and Earth's Jane Foster. And a third group of characters will be available to those that pre-order the game. This super pack includes Dark Phoenix, Thanos, A-Bomb, Beta Ray Bill, Falcon, Winter Solder, as well as twelve new vehicles including the Spider Mobile.

Marvel also revealed some of the costume variants available for Spider-Man, including his current Superior Spider-Man garb as well as his all-white Future Foundation suit.
