Aaron Eckhart is Sexy Frankenstein in: Frankenstein vs the Gargoyles
We can only assume that was the original working title for I, Frankenstein, the second classic monster getting a 2014 update to have a trailer released today. In the trailer, Eckhart plays Frankenstein's Monster (he goes by Adam here), alive for centuries, and teams with Yvonne Strahovsky against an army of metamorphic Gargoyle things. Look, it sounds ridiculous, but just take a look at Lionsgate's trailer - the spectacle of it all could be fun. I, Frankenstein hits theaters January 24, 2013, and is based off the graphic novel of the same name.
Godzilla Rises From the Depths
Update: It turns out this was less than official - the footage is official and high quality, but the post seems to have been premature. We'll respect Warner Bros' wishes and not be posting additional sources for the footage, but as they will surely learn, once something is out on the internet, it stays there no matter how much they wish it hadn't.
Original: Gareth Edwards showed off some footage from Godzilla, his May 16, 2014 release that reboots the most famous kaiju at Comic-Con International: San Diego in July, and now that has hit the internet in an official capacity under the discreet codename "Fatman." Interestingly enough, that name is linked perfectly to the quote that is voiced over the footage, which does give us the immediate payoff of a full look at the titular monster.
The movie will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen , who have both been front-and-center in comic book movie news of late, as the reported close-to-signing pair that will play twin superheroes Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Joss Whedon's 2015 sequel to the highest-grossing comic book movie of all time. Check out the teaser below, and start your countdown to May.
