Krypton Returns

MAN OF STEEL's Faora Makes Her NEW 52 Debut in ACTION COMICS ANNUAL #2 1st Look

Date: 13 September 2013 Time: 12:58 PM ET

"This fall, Krypton is back," says DC Comics.

The publisher released their first pages from October's Action Comics Annual #2 Friday, the opening chapter of the Superman Family crossover “Krypton Returns."

"Following the events of the Psi War, Superman will be sucked into space by Oracle. A time tsunami will then pull him, Superboy, and Supergirl onto their home planet, bringing them back to a place they thought they’d never see again.

"But the Krypton they arrive on is not the same Krypton they remember. This planet is overrun by the tyrannical H’El, who has set up prison camps for all those who oppose his regime. In order to defeat him, the trio will need to escape via different portals that’ll place them all into separate timelines to fight their own individual battles. But will they all return unchanged – if they return at all?"

In the preview pages, Faora makes her New 52 debut. "A rebel force to be reckoned with, Faora is determined to take down H’El and restore justice to Krypton. But as Superman, Superboy, and Supergirl learn, sometimes you should be careful what you wish for."
