Bradley Cooper is in talks to voice the already-Tumblr-favorite raccoon with a penchant for big guns, and the Olsen twins' little sister may don a red cape for Marvel Studios as well, Hollywood Reporter confirms.
Cooper, rumored earlier in the day to be in negotiations to voice Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, apparently isn't as far along in negotiations despite that film coming out 9 months earlier than Avengers: Age of Ultron. Cooper's comedic chops in the Hangover films made him a hot Hollywood leading man, and his dramatic side alongside Jennifer Lawerence in last year's Silver Linings Playlist made people take him seriously.
Elizabeth Olsen, meanwhile, is close to signing with Marvel Studios for the coveted role of Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. Half of a brother-sister duo with Pietro "Quicksilver" Maximoff, Wanda uses her mutant powers along with access to chaos magic to great affect in the comics - she once took away the powers of tens of millions of mutants with just three words. Olsen has won acclaim for her indie work, and is next appearing in both the Oldboy and Godzilla remakes. Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), meanwhile, remains in negotiations for the role of her twin brother Quicksilver, a character he spoke openly about playing during press for his other superhero movie.
