Her Universe Gets Zombified with WALKING DEAD Apparel for Women
Female fans of The Walking Dead have a whole new way to express themselves, thanks to Ashley Eckstein's Her Universe.
The apparel and accessory brand, originally founded by Eckstein while voicing Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars to provide Star Wars apparel made specifically for women, secured AMC's license to make new clothing based off the top-rated cable TV show.
"There is certainly an expanding fan base of women who faithfully watch The Walking Dead and this collection of unique apparel and merchandise is targeted just for them," Eckstein said in a press release. "I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead and I was thrilled with the opportunity to design Zombie fashion for fangirls. The story lines on this show are very emotional, compelling and addicting! As a fan, I am excited to have more apparel options made for women."
The show, of course, is based off the comic by Robert Kirkman from his own Skybound Entertainment imprint at Image Comics. The comic will be celebrating its tenth anniversary with a special celebration at Comic-Con International: San Diego next week, where the Her Universe apparel will also launch.
