Comic-Con THURSDAY Programming Includes X-FILES Reunion, More
It's two weeks until Comic-Con International in San Diego, which means the traditional one-day-at-a-time rollout of its massive programming schedule is now underway. Thursday's slate includes an X-Files reunion reported to include both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson (and Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, who first made a name for himself writing for the sci-fi show); a Walking Dead 10th anniversary commemoration; plus a major presence from Marvel, DC and more comic book publishers. Batman: Arkham Origins
Witness the next installment in the blockbuster videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montréal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crimefighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships. Black Mask: Bringing a Punk Rock Sensibility, Activism, and Wu-Tang to Comics
