EXCLUSIVE LOOK: Gaiman & Kubert's Batman

This week sees Batman #683 from DC Comics, telling the second part of “What the Butler Saw,” which ties the “R.I.P.” storyline to Batman’s appearances in Final Crisis. As Batman and DC readers know, something happens to Batman, as events in Batman-family titles bearing the “Last Rites” trade have shown the characters of Gotham City getting used to life without Batman.

In February, Batman gets his big send-off, courtesy of Neil Gaiman and Andy Kubert with the two part “Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?” told between Batman #686 and Detective Comics #853.
