Marvel's next event series, the Jonathan Hickman-written Infinity, launches in August — but before that, we've got the exclusive cover reveal to September's issue #3.
Like each of the previous main Infinity covers released so far, this one is illustrated by Adam Kubert, and focuses on a single character. This time around, it's Black Bolt, leader of The Inhumans — a group said to play a very important part in the Infinity happenings. The series starts with issue #1 in August, then double-ships with two issues in both September and October, before wrapping up in November.
Beyond the six-part main Infinity series, Hickman is also writing the tie-in issues of his ongoing Marvel books, Avengers and New Avengers. The main story is illustrated by Jim Cheung, Jerome Opeña, Dustin Weaver and colorist Justin Ponsor, and has further announced tie-ins in Captain Marvel, Avengers Assemble, Thunderbolts, Superior Spider-Man Team-Up and more.
The main action of Infinity is twofold — The Avengers traveling to outer space to confront The Builders, leaving Earth vulnerable to an attack from Thanos.
