The latest weekly Product Changes update from Diamond contains several notable bits of news, including Adrian Alphona and Dexter Soy both illustrating June's Uncanny X-Force #6. When the issue was originally solicited in March, no artist was listed.
Alphona, the original artist of Marvel's celebrated Runaways series, made his return to comics starting with sequences of Uncanny X-Force #3 and #4, and is drawing all of issue #5, scheduled for release on May 29. Soy is also solicited as drawing August's Uncanny X-Force #10, and DC's DC Universe vs. The Masters of the Universe miniseries, starting that same month.
More Marvel artist news: June's X-Factor #258, the second part of six-issue arc "The End of X-Factor," will be drawn by Carmen Nunez Carnero instead of Neil Edwards, while July's X-Factor #259 will be drawn by Edwards and not Leonard Kirk; June's FF #9 will be drawn by Joe Quinones (who also drew issue #6) and not Mike Allred; and July's Red She-Hulk #67, the last issue of that series, is drawn by Carlo Pagulayan along with solicited artist Wellinton Alves.
July's Ultimate Comics X-Men #29, solicited without an artist, will be drawn by Alvaro Eduardo Martinez Bueno. Venom #37 and #38, both solicited for July and without artists listed, will be drawn by Aaron Kim Jacinto.
Additionally, Marvel released the Tradd Moore-illustrated cover to June's Deadpool #11, seen above.
Over at DC, June's Batman #21 — the first part of the highly touted "Zero Year" storyline — will now ship with an embossed cover at its usual $3.99 cover price. Last year, the "Death of the Family" Batman crossover shipped with die-cut covers featuring the story's main players. Here's the full list of the latest Product Changes, straight from Diamond.
