The next Scribblenauts game from WBIE and 5th Cell Games is playing with one of Warner's other companies: DC Comics.

Scribblenauts Unmasked takes the game concept - your character Maxwell is helped by your imagination as you create objects and characters to help you complete goals on adventure/puzzle platforms - and adds in a staggering 2,000 DC Comics characters, to say nothing of the environments and objects involved as well.

That means you can find every variation of Batman that has ever appeared in a DC Comic book - and create even more. Type any variation of adjectives and end with Batman, and you'll see your character show up. Or just type Batman, and see a list of the pre-made versions (including other members of the Bat-family) appear. Or give Joker a batarang, or Jason Todd a crowbar, or superspeed to the Penguin.

It means that whether your favorite character is Green Lantern (any Green Lantern), or Red Bee, or Brother Power the Geek, or any Legionnaire, or Harley Quinn with Superman's powers, or a giant venom-powered Joker, or Ambush Bug, or Mr. Mxyzptlk - it doesn't matter who your favorite is, because they'll be there.

The game will have some more adventure-focused levels than past entries in the series, and even allow you to take control of the DC characters alongside Maxwell.

Really, all that matters here is that we can finally have the Red Bee, Bumblebee vs Queen Bee team up we've all been buzzing about for years (I'm so sorry).

Scribblenauts Unmasked comes to the WiiU, Nintendo 3DS, and PC Fall 2013.
