In DC's latest edition of 'What's New in the New 52', editor-in-chief Bob Harras introduces Cheshire into the New 52.

"Last week, we showed you the design for Bronze Tiger and teased that he’ll be somehow tied to the unraveling of Jason Todd’s memories," writes Harras. "Today, take a look at another person from Jason’s past who’ll be appearing in the pages of Red Hood and the Outlaws soon to shed a little bit more light on Jason’s origin. But can Jason trust Cheshire? And what’s her connection to Bronze Tiger?"

While DC is playing up Jason and Cheshire's connection, long-time DC fans of course know the villain in pre-New 52 continuity as Roy Harper's sometimes-lover and mother to his daughter Lian.

Previous DC 'What's New' editions have featured teases of Cyborg Superman, who DC has referred as "Joker's Daughter?!", a new Batwing character Lady Vic , and the new Green Lantern villain Relic.
