Norwalk, CT, December 15, 2008: Three of Marvel’s most celebrated and renowned creators and artists will be attending New York Comic Con (NYCC). The star-studded line up includes Guest of Honor appearances by Brian Michael Bendis, Gabrielle Dell’Otto and Matt Fraction, all of whom will appear on panels and will be autographing at different points throughout the thee-day show. New York Comic, which has grown rapidly since its launch in 2006 to become the second largest popular culture event in the United States, will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, February 6 – 8, 2009.
“This is the first announcement that we’re making about Marvel guests at New York Comic Con, and it’s a big one!” notes Lance Fensterman, the Show Manager for NYCC. “These guys are at the absolute apex of what they do, and Marvel is providing us an incredibly classy presentation of top talent. We couldn’t be happier that they will be attending our show and I know that we will have a huge turnout for all their various activities.”
