Matthew Vaughn is staying in the Fox/Marvel family, with Deadline reporting that he's joined the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot film as a producer.
The new Fantastic Four movie will be directed by Chronicle's Josh Trank, with a screenplay by Jeremy Slater. Fox currently has it slated for March 6, 2015. Vaughn previously directed 2011's X-Men: First Class for Fox, though Bryan Singer is returning to the franchise to direct the sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Vaughn also directed 2010's Kick-Ass, based on the comic created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. Last year, Millar joined Fox as a creative consultant for the studio's Marvel adaptations.
