Just a few days ago Newsarama speculated on the future of Damian Wayne and why the current Robin seemed to be so scarce in the April and May DC Bat-solicitations. Now an alleged cover to February 27th's Batman, Incorporated #8 may provide a new clue.
BIG POSSIBLE SPOILERS below:
The following image appeared Friday afternoon on the twitter account of Comic Crusaders, a Long Island City, Queens based comic book retailer, whose proprietor goes by "Al Mega" on social networks. It appears to be the regular shipping covers to Batman Inc. #8, with cover copy that makes a clear impression as to what may happen in the issue.
However, as Newsarama often points out, comic book covers are often just teases, sometimes purposely misleading ones, and there is no guarantee the cover – if genuine - is a literal reflection of the events of the issue.
It should also be pointed out that it alludes to Robin, and not Damian Wayne. Considering them as distinct entities opens up other avenues to interpret the cover.
Newsarama has not been able to reach DC to verify the authenticity of the covers or what it means if they are authethic.
Here is the solicitation copy for the issue and the image along with the originally solicited cover image, which we note was named as the variant by DC in the original filename.
