Watch This: Rooster Teeth Takes A SIMPLE WALK INTO MORDOR

It's a famous literary line that spread into Internet meme-level fame thanks to the Lord of the Rings films: "One does not simply walk into Mordor."

Well, Rooster Teeth, the production company behind the hilarious Halo machinima series Red vs. Blue, is out to prove Boromir wrong. In a journey across six days and over 120 miles, two members of Rooster Teeth simply walk into Mordor by taking the trip from the shooting locations of the shire all the way to the real-life Mount Doom in New Zealand.

But Kerry Shawcross and Chris Demarais didn't want to do take the easy way out, so in typical Rooster Teeth fashion, they've gone the extra geeky mile. The pair dressed in Hobbit clothing for their trek, and of course documented the full trip.

"I was curious as to how far away the sets for the Shire and Mordor were from each other because I thought it would be hilarious if they were actually close," Shawcross said in a press release. "When I found out it was only 120 miles away, I knew I had to try and walk the distance."
