Because you didn't have enough movie news today, Marc Webb, director of Amazing Spider-Man and the as-yet untitled sequel, has a bit of casting news for you. Over on his twitter account, the director announced the new Harry Osborn will be played by Dane DeHaan. Harry Osborn, the son of Norman Osborn, played a huge role in the Spider-Man film trilogy earlier this century. As the son of the villainous Green Goblin, Harry had his own arc of revenge-seeking and eventual redemption, as well as playing the third point in a love triangle between Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. DeHaan's star turn in 2012's Chronicle likely had a strong part in landing him the coveted role. In the movie, he plays a troubled teen who gains superpowers, only to eventually lose control, forgetting that with great power must come great responsibility. Amazing Spider-Man 2 (working title) is due out May 2, 2014.
