After announcing the renewal of their Battlestar Galactica license with NBC Universal yesterday (and a cosmic creative team to go with it), today Dynamite announces a new license with the studio. Taking Grimm from screen to page, the comic will premiere in 2013, following the further adventures of Detective Nick Burkhardt and his friends Monroe and Hank Griffin. No creative team has been announced yet, but the producers of the show are excited. "The opportunity to delve even deeper into the Grimm universe is an exciting prospect. One we hope fans of the show and comic books in general will equally enjoy." said Executive Producers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf in a press release. "The medium will allow the story to go places we never could within the constraints of a television production. It's pretty cool." Grimm appeared at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2012 with a promotional comic-book-style poster drawn by Whilce Portacio, showing their early love for the medium. Stay tuned for more info about Grimm and all of Dynamite's big news from New York Comic Con this weekend.
